The 2-week-long fifteenth India-Nepal mixed battalion-level navy coaching train “Surya Kiran” commenced at Pithoragarh in Uttarakhand on Monday. The train ends on October 3.
In the course of the train, an infantry battalion every from the Indian Military and the Nepali military shall be coaching collectively to develop inter-operability and share their expertise of counter-terrorism and catastrophe aid operations. Round 650 defence personnel from each armies are collaborating within the occasion.
In the meantime, the sixth version of the SCO Train Peaceable Mission 2021 hosted by Russia began on the Orenburg Area of South West Russia at present. An Indian navy contingent, comprising an all arms mixed power of 200 personnel from the Indian Military and Indian Air Pressure, is collaborating.
The intention of the train is to foster shut relations amongst SCO member states and to reinforce skills of navy leaders to command multi-national navy contingents.
The opening ceremony commenced with a formidable parade by all collaborating contingents.
The train is predicated on joint counter-terrorism operations at operational and tactical degree and all SCO member states are collaborating. Pakistan and China are additionally members of the SCO.
