KARACHI: Pakistan Navy ship Saif has performed Passage Train (Passex) with Italian Navy ship ITS Carabiniere within the Gulf of Aden.
The purpose of the current train was to boost interoperability and strengthen relations between the 2 navies.
The train included maritime interdiction operations, cross deck landings and numerous different serials which can improve skilled competence of the lads onboard and improve cooperation amongst ships deployed within the area.
PNS Saif is presently on Regional Maritime Safety Patrol deployment within the North Arabian Sea and the Gulf of Aden and is visiting Duqm, Oman in pursuance of cordial relations with regional nations.
The participation of Pakistan Navy in bilateral/multilateral workout routines is a manifestation of its resolve to contribute successfully in upkeep of peace, stability and order within the area.
